This aroid is commonly named as Alocasia x amazonica. According to the Exotic Rainforest website, this name is incorrect. It is likely to be a hybrid between Alocasia sanderiana and Alocasia watsoniana. Alocasia watsoniana is now considered to be a synonym of Alocasia longiloba. As the plant resembles more to Alocasia sanderiana, I have used this name instead of indicating it as a hybrid under Alocasia longiloba.
